While we welcome your comments and feedback regarding our Site, our products and services, we do not want to receive and do not accept confidential or proprietary ideas, suggestions, materials or other information. Accordingly, please note that all comments, feedback, ideas, suggestions, materials, information, and other submissions disclosed, submitted or offered to Home Grown Store, on or by this Site or otherwise (collectively “Comments”) shall be and remain the Home Grown Store’s property. This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
By visiting thehomegrownstore.com, you agree that the laws of the State of California, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Terms and any dispute that might arise between you and Home Grown Store.
Termination:
This Agreement is effective unless and until terminated by either you or Home Grown Store. You may terminate this Agreement at any time. Home Grown Store also may terminate this Agreement at any time and may do so immediately without notice, and accordingly deny you access to the Site, if in Home Grown Store’s sole discretion you fail to comply with any term or provision of this Agreement. Upon any termination of this Agreement by either you or Home Grown Store you must promptly destroy all materials downloaded or otherwise obtained from this site, as well as all copies of such materials, whether made under the terms of this Agreement or otherwise.
Privacy Policy:
Home Grown Store will not share, sell or rent your personal data to any third parties – period.
Your Account:
Visitors to thehomegrownstore.com are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password information. You agree to accept responsibility for all orders that are placed under your account using your password. You may not use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of a credit card or other content provided to the Home Grown Store. Home Grown Store reserves the right to terminate your account and to cancel orders in Home Grown Store’s sole discretion.
Minors and Family Members:
Home Grown Store does not knowingly market to or knowingly solicit information from minors.
Minors are ineligible to use our website purchasing services, and we do not want minors to submit any personal information to us.
If a minor makes a purchase with their parent’s (or anyone else’s) credit card without authorization, thehomegrownstore.com is not responsible for any refunds or returns.
If a family member makes a purchase without the credit card holder’s authorization, thehomegrownstore.com is not responsible for any refunds or returns.
There are no exceptions.
The prices that you see on thehomegrownstore.com website are exclusive prices for customers that place orders with thehomegrownstore.com.
These prices are not reflective of the prices in our store: Home Grown Store located @ 5455 w. Pico Blvd in Los Angeles, California 90019.
ALL SALE ITEMS PURCHASED AT A REDUCED PRICE ARE A FINAL SALE AND CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.
PLEASE NOTE: REFUNDS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD. UNLESS HOME GROWN STORE HAS SENT AN INCORRECT OR DAMAGED ITEM, NOR WILL A REFUND BE PERMITTED IF THE CUSTOMER CHOOSES NOT TO RECEIVE AN EXCHANGE OF THE INCORRECT OR DAMAGED ITEM FOR THE CORRECT ITEM OR REPLACEMENT.
Order Processing:
In general, it may take approximately 24-48 hour business days to process an order before it is shipped by the shipping method chosen. However, in certain circumstances the time frame may be more or less than 24-48 hours.
Shipping Policy:
Home Grown Store ships domestically using UPS Fed Ex and USPS. The estimated shipping cost and delivery time will be displayed during checkout. Express options are also available to you at checkout. Shipping costs depend upon the method and option you choose. If you purchase multiple items for your shipment to one address, you will be charged one regular per-shipment fee, as well as per-item fee for each item in that shipment. We require a signature for all deliveries. (You cannot Waive Signature Delivery).
We cannot ship to a P.O. Box. A P.O. Box order will be automatically cancelled.
We cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses. An order with these addresses will be automatically cancelled.
At present thehomegrownstore.com does not ship to addresses outside of the U.S. and its territories (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam).
Orders shipping to Hawaii or Alaska will have a surcharge added to cover additional costs and will be noted at checkout.
Generally, standard shipping for a domestic delivery takes 3 to 5 business days. Two-day shipping for domestic delivery generally takes 2 business days. One-day shipping arrives overnight if the order is placed before 12:00 noon PST. There is no weekend delivery.
Return Policy:
Home Grown Store prides itself on offering high quality merchandise and service.
Home Grown Store gladly accepts returns or exchanges within the time frames and in accordance with the return policy set forth herein. Your account will be credited accordingly. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
All orders have a 14 day return/exchange policy. The return/exchange must be date stamped within 14 days after we SHIPPED THE ITEM, not 14 days from the day the item was received. All items must include a receipt and have no signs of wear. In the event there are signs of use, return acceptance and/or full or partial refund will be at the discretion of Home Grown Store.
Please contact us at 323.933.5400 or homegrownstore@sbcglobal.net to inform us of your intentions to return an item and request a return authorization. Please include with the return a copy of your invoice and indicate on it whether you are exchanging or returning the item. For exchanges, please indicate the desired model/size.
We will not accept items for return or exchange past the time period set forth in this policy and no “store credit” will be given for such items.
If you receive a defective product, you must notify us within three days of receiving the product to be eligible for a return. If you do not follow this policy, we will only accept defective items at our discretion.
Please remember that all clearance/sale merchandise is not subject to exchange and may only be returned if there is a defect.
The return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the purchaser, unless the return or exchange is a result of our error, in which cases we will credit your account for the shipping expense you incur at standard delivery rates. All returns must be sent via UPS, Fed Ex, or registered mail or any other delivery service that can track a package, and requires a signature upon delivery. In cases of returns, you should expect to receive your refund within four weeks from the time we receive the package. In most cases, we will notify you via e-mail of your refund after we have received the item and processed the return.
Please note that thehomegrownstore.com does not permit the return/exchange of the following items:
- Sale/clearance items purchased at a Reduced Price
- Body care products
- Food items
- Jewelry
- Used/consignment items
- Items purchased from our website thehomegrownstore.com cannot be returned to our brick and mortar store Home Grown Store.
Back Orders:
If you only order a single item on your order, and that single item order is on back order, it may take two to four weeks (or longer in certain cases) before another shipment arrives. When the shipment with the back ordered items arrives at our processing facility, we will then send the back ordered item.
In the event that an item on your order of multiple items is on back order, and all the other items on your order are in stock, thehomegrownstore.com will ship the items in stock and REMOVE the back order from your order. You will not be charged for the removed item.
If the back ordered item is still desired, please keep checking our website for the availability of the item you want, so that you can reorder the item.
(In some cases, at our discretion, when an item on your order is on back order, and the other items are in stock; thehomegrownstore.com may hold the complete order until the shipment for the back order item arrives, and then the complete order will be shipped.)
Cancellation of Orders and Out of Stock Items:
You may only cancel your order via telephone, or fax, up to the time the order is shipped.
You may not cancel your order via email.
If the order has been processed and shipped, you cannot cancel the order. You can only return/exchange the order. You are responsible for the shipping costs to and from thehomegrownstore.com.
thehomegrownstore.com may cancel your order, or part of your order, if the item is out of stock and no longer available. You will receive an email if your complete order is cancelled because the item or items are out of stock.
Product Descriptions, Colors and Prices:
Home Grown Store tries to be accurate and complete in describing its products. Home Grown Store does not warrant, however, that product descriptions are necessarily complete or error-free in all cases. If you believe a product ordered from the Home Grown Store site is not the same as the one described on the website, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
Home Grown Store will confirm the price of an item at the time you place an order. On rare occasions, items shown on the Home Grown Store site may be mispriced. Where we discover the error prior to shipping, if a product’s correct price is higher than our stated price, Home Grown Store will (at our discretion) contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on our site. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.
